Quick Block is a feature that allows you to quickly and temporarily block desired apps and websites without having to create complex rules. It can be started and paused just by tapping one button (Start/Stop) or with the Timer function.
Start/Stop button – you can simply start the blocking by pressing the Start button. The blocking will continue until you press the Stop button again.
Timer function in Quick Block – you can have Quick Block active for a specific duration (25 minutes, 1 hour, 24 hours) or Custom time. After the timer runs out, the blocking will stop – or you can disable it earlier by pressing the Stop button.

Pomodoro for Quick Block – you can set Pomodoro blocking for Quick Block, in other ways create a blocking for specific time intervals. You can set up the Focus time (duration), Break (duration) and number of Sessions.

When trying to add content to a block for the first time, you should see a dialogue telling you more about the feature. There, you can Allow or Decline this feature. If you decline, your current blocklist setup will remain unchanged. You can enable this feature later in the app settings.

Keywords – in this list, you can select what keywords you want to block. To add a specific keyword, tap on the “Add keyword” bar at the top of the list, write the desired keyword, select where it should be checked (In domain / Anywhere in URL), and click the Add button. To edit or delete added keywords use the long press on the keyword in the list.
In domain – the website will be blocked if your keyword is found in the first part of the web address, preceding the / character. Take keyword game blocks the webpage https://store.epicgames.com/.
Anywhere in URL – the keyword will also be blocked if it is found after the / character. This enables you to block subpages and searches! The keyword game would then also block https:://www.reddit.com/r/games and https://www.google.com/search?q=play+games+now.

Quick Block settings allow you to choose what is blocked for your selected apps. At least one option must be selected. You can select them by clicking on the settings icon (gear icon) at the top right corner of the Quick Block detail page.
Launch – you won’t be able to access your blocked applications/websites.
Shortcut for Quick Block will allow you to quickly turn your Quick Block on or off with a single tap. Simply follow the instructions in application to set it up by pressing the “How to set” text.

In the Schedule, you can select between 2 Blocking modes – Blocklist and Allowlist.

Blocklist – selected apps, websites or Safari keywords will be blocked.
Selecting blocking conditions will create a rule of when or where you won’t be disturbed. Currently, we provide five blocking conditions for Blocklist:
Time – can block apps for specific days and hours. You can for instance block distracting apps every weekday from 9:00 (9 AM) to 16:00 (4 PM) to stay more focused on work or school.
Days – In this section, you can select what exact days you would like to have the blocking active. It will be automatically selected on the day you create the Schedule. Selected days will be highlighted by the blue color.

To create a specific time interval, click on the “+ Add” button on the left side below the intervals. There, you can select specific From and To times, when the blocking should be active.

Location – this condition can help you block the apps in a specific area or outside of the area.

To use location schedules, you need to grant permission to Location.

The first location will be automatically set around your location. If you want to select a different area, tap on the map or click on the search icon (magnifying glass) at the top right corner, type a new location, and select a result.

Inverse radius – if you would like to block everything outside of the selected radius, you can select the Inverse radius. You can turn it on by clicking the switch button. If the option is selected, the switch button will be turned blue.
To use wifi schedules, you need to grant permission to Location.

Charger lock will lock your Schedule until you attach a charger to your device.
You can manage your Schedule icon by pressing the pen icon next to the Schedule icon. Afterward, you will be able to select desired emoji.

Each Schedule has several options that can be accessed directly from the Blocking page. Options will be visible after pressing 3 dots at the right side of the Schedule.
Activate now – this option allows user to instantly activate the Schedule for selected duration. No matter what condition is selected, apps will be blocked.

You can select specific blocking duration in minutes and hours. You can also Lock the Schedule for that duration, meaning you won’t be able to edit or disable Schedule until the timer reaches 0. This can be done by pressing Lock icon to the left from time duration.

Please keep in mind that after Disabling your Schedule, you will have to manually start the Schedule if you would like to activate it again. You can do this by tapping on the More (three dots) option at the right side of the Schedule card and selecting Resume.
To speed up the process of Schedule creation, you can create the Schedule from the pre-defined Schedules (Schedule templates).

Strict Mode is a feature that enforces stricter app and website blocking. It prevents you from easily disabling or modifying your blocking setup, protects against uninstalling which ensures the blocks stay in place, and much more. The more options you select, the blocking will be more strict which can be seen in the Strictness bar.
In Strict Mode, you can select Options of what will be blocked and Access methods that will disable Strict Mode blocking.

Lock blockings in app – this option is automatically preselected and ensures that you won’t edit, pause, or delete your blockings in AppBlock.
Block reinstalled applications – after you uninstall the blocked app, we will still keep it in the blocklist so you won’t be able to bypass blocking with reinstalling.

Approval – your partner can deactivate the Strict Mode via email.

You can choose the wanted Schedules from the list by clicking on the access method. Selected Schedules should have a white check with a blue background next to it.

Statistics

On this page, you can see the statistics of the applications and websites. You can check out th usage time, screen unlocks and launch count for specific days or weeks. You can view the statistics in the bar chart overview or view the detailed statistics for single application or website.
At the top of the screen you can select between daily and weekly statistics.
Day – this option will show you the statistics for a single day. By default, you will see the statistics for the present day. If you want to see previous statistics, you can tap the arrow button “<” or by swiping to the right on the chart area.

Week – this option will show you the statistics for a single week. By default, you will see the statistics for the present week. If you want to see previous statistics, you can tap the arrow button “<” or by swiping to the right on the chart area.

Next to the time period selection, you can also choose what exact item you would like to see. Currently, you can view your Usage time, Screen unlocks and Launch count.
Usage time – This will show you the statistics of the apps and website usage, in different words the time you have spent in the applications or on the website.

Screen unlocks – This will show you the statistics on how many times you have unlocked your screen.

Launch count – This will show you the statistics on how many times you have opened the applications or websites.

Under the chart section, you can view all applications and websites you have used at a specific time.
All – This is the default overall overview which includes both applications and websites.

Apps – This list shows only statistics for applications.

The list is sorted by the most used to the least. Each item will have an icon, name, usage bar, time spent/opened and three dots. By pressing the three dots, you can put the application or website to the Ignore list or Add the application/website to the blocking.
Ignore – by pressing the Ignore option, you can add specific app or website to the Ignore list. Afterward, the application or website will not be included in the statistics.
Add to blocking – if you have noticed that you spend a lot of time on the specific app or web, you can add it directly to your blocking setup without leaving the statistics screen. After clicking on this option, you can select in which exact existing Schedule you would like to add the application or website. Selected Schedule will have a checkmark on the blue background.

App/Web detail Statistics
To see a detail statistic of the application or website, press on the item in the list. On the detail screen you can see daily and weekly statistics for the Usage time and Launch count.

To add specific application/website to your blockings, press the “Add to blocking” button. After clicking on this option, you can select in which exact existing Schedule you would like to add the application or website. Selected Schedule will have a checkmark on the blue background.
Incognito statistics – Statistics of web browsing while in incognito mode will be displayed and stored in your devices. This option works only for supported browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Ecosia, Puffin).
In Ignore list you can find all applications and websites that are manually removed from the statistics and some preselect applications/websites. You can find it by pressing the three dots at the right corner and selecting Ignore list.

To see applications and websites you have manually added to the list, please head to the “Custom” section.
You can switch between lists of applications and websites you would like to add to ignore list by clicking on the navigation buttons at the top of the screen.
Apps/Applications – all installed apps will show in the list. You can add/remove them by tapping on the desired app. Selected apps will have a check box with a blue background and white check mark. If you cannot find a specific app, you can use the Search feature. To save the selection, don’t forget to click on the Save button
Webs/Websites – all websites of installed apps will show in the list (for example – if you have installed a YouTube app, you will see the youtube.com website on the list). You can add/remove them by tapping on the desired website. Selected apps will have a check box with a blue background and white check mark. To add a specific website, tap on the “Add website” bar at the top of the list, write the desired website, and click the Add button. To edit or delete a manually added website use the long press on the website in the list.
Premium – Only available for the free users (without premium).

Block Screen
