AppBlock does not work after entering Safe Mode

If you’ve noticed that AppBlock stops working in Safe Mode, it’s due to the way your device manages apps in this mode. Safe Mode is designed to temporarily disable all non-essential apps, including AppBlock, to allow for troubleshooting or resolving device issues. As a result, AppBlock cannot monitor or block apps or web pages during this time. Unfortunately, due to system limitations, we still cannot fully block or prevent access to Safe Mode.

That said, since Android version 7.16.0, we’ve introduced a new feature called Secure after restart. This briefly locks your device after a restart, helping prevent the short window before blocking becomes active again.

This can help reduce the chance of bypassing restrictions via Safe Mode.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding!
