Can I set a PIN code to protect AppBlock’s launch?
Yes — you can require a PIN to open AppBlock. This adds an extra layer of friction if you’re trying to make it harder to disable your own blocks.
How to set it up
- Open AppBlock.
- Go to Profile → Customize → General → PIN code.
- Enter a PIN of 4 to 8 digits.
- Tap Confirm.
- Re-enter the same PIN and tap Confirm again to save.
From now on, you’ll need to enter the PIN to open AppBlock.
How to remove or change the PIN
Go back to Profile → Customize → General → PIN code — you can change or remove it from the same screen.
If you forget your PIN
Don’t worry — see “I forgot my PIN to open AppBlock”. We can send you a one-time code to reset your PIN.
Good to know
- The launch PIN is separate from the Strict Mode PIN — they’re two different things.
- For maximum protection, use both: the launch PIN to add friction every time AppBlock opens, and Strict Mode to lock your blocking setup.
