How does AppBlock handle your data
Our blocking method is entirely local — it runs solely on your device. Here’s a clear breakdown of what data we collect, what stays private, and how we handle everything.
Statistics data
All usage data and statistics in AppBlock are 100% private. We do not share this data with anyone.
- Statistics are deleted if you reinstall AppBlock.
- We can restore app statistics from the past two weeks by retrieving them from your device’s system.
- Website statistics cannot be restored once AppBlock is reinstalled — they’re stored only on your device and are not backed up to a server.
Blocking data
All your schedules, Quick Block setups, and other blocking settings are stored only on your device. We don’t have access to them.
Login data
If you log in to AppBlock, we can see the email address used to create your account. We use this to:
- Keep your Academy progress synchronized with our server.
- Handle Premium account access and backups.
Analytics data
We collect anonymous usage data to help us improve the app. This data cannot be linked back to you in any way.
It may include things like which blocking conditions are used most often or how frequently Quick Block is activated.
We also collect crash and performance data — this is invaluable for fixing bugs and improving the overall app experience.
The bottom line
We do not sell any personal data to third parties. For full details on what data is collected across different platforms, see our Privacy Policy.
