How to give accessibility permission if restricted? (Samsung)
On some Samsung devices, you may need to enable “restricted settings” before you can grant AppBlock the Accessibility permission. If AppBlock appears greyed out in the Accessibility settings, follow these steps.
Step 1: Try to enable Accessibility
- Go to Settings → Accessibility → Installed apps.
- Tap on AppBlock — a “Restricted settings” screen will appear.
- Tap OK.
Step 2: Allow restricted settings for AppBlock
- Go back to Settings → Apps → AppBlock.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
- Select Allow restricted settings.
- Verify your identity (PIN, pattern, or biometric).
Step 3: Enable Accessibility
- Go back to Settings → Accessibility → Installed apps.
- Tap AppBlock.
- Toggle it from off to on.
- Confirm the Full Control dialog.
AppBlock should now have the Accessibility permission and work correctly.
