How to restore my purchase — AppBlock Premium not recognized
If you’ve purchased Premium but AppBlock still shows the free version, restoring your purchase usually fixes it.
Step 1: Restore from AppBlock
- Open AppBlock.
- Go to Profile → Account → Premium.
- Tap Restore purchases.
If you don’t see Profile, you might be on an older version — go to AppBlock → More → Restore Purchase instead. We recommend updating to the latest version to enjoy all the new features.
Step 2: Check your Google Play account
Make sure you’re signed in with the same Google Play account used to purchase Premium:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Check whether AppBlock is listed as active.
If AppBlock isn’t listed, switch to the correct Google account and try restoring again.
Step 3: Try from Troubleshooting
- Open AppBlock.
- Go to Profile → Help → Troubleshooting.
- Tap Restore purchases at the bottom.
Step 4: Clear the Play Store cache
If restoring still doesn’t work:
- Go to Settings → Applications → Play Store → Storage and cache.
- Tap Clear storage.
- Close Settings and reopen the Google Play Store.
- Close AppBlock completely by removing it from recent apps, then reopen it.
- Try restoring purchases again.
Step 5: Reinstall AppBlock (last resort)
If nothing else works, try reinstalling AppBlock.
Important: Reinstalling will erase your blocking settings unless you’ve previously created a backup in Profile → Account → Backup.
If the problem persists after all of this, contact our support team and we’ll help you sort it out.
