Payments and Subscriptions

If you purchased the All-in-One Pack before we switched to a subscription model, you should still have access to Premium features. If your Premium has disappeared from the app, here’s how to restore it.

Steps to restore access

Step 1: Verify your Google Play account

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  3. Check that AppBlock is listed.

If not, switch to the Google account used for the original purchase and try again.

Step 2: Restore purchases in AppBlock

  1. Open AppBlock.
  2. Go to Profile → Help → Troubleshooting → Restore purchases.

Step 3: Clear the Google Play Store cache

  1. Go to Settings → Apps → Play Store → Storage & cache.
  2. Tap Clear storage.
  3. Reopen the Google Play Store and AppBlock.
  4. Try restoring purchases again.

Step 4: Reinstall AppBlock

If none of the above works, reinstall AppBlock.

Before doing so, create a backup via Profile → Backup so you don’t lose your blocking settings.

If you’re new to AppBlock and have never subscribed before, you’ll have the option to start a free 7-day trial of the Premium version directly in the app.

How the trial works

Once you start the trial, you have 7 days of full access to all Premium features.

When the trial ends, your subscription automatically renews to the yearly Premium plan — unless you cancel before the trial period is up.

On the 5th day of your trial, you’ll receive a reminder from Google Play letting you know the free trial is ending in 2 days.

How to cancel before the trial ends

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap your profile picture.
  3. Go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  4. Find AppBlock and tap Cancel subscription.

Cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged.

Good to know

  • The free trial is only available if you’ve never subscribed to AppBlock Premium before.
  • After cancellation, you keep Premium access until the end of the trial period.

Seeing an unexpected charge from AppBlock can be confusing — here’s what’s usually going on and what you can do.

Common reasons for repeat charges

  • Automatic renewal. Yearly and monthly subscriptions renew automatically by default. If you didn’t cancel before the renewal date, you’ll be charged for the next period.
  • Trial converted to a paid subscription. Free trials automatically convert into paid subscriptions when they end, unless you cancel before then.
  • You’re using multiple Google accounts. If you previously bought Premium on a different Google account, you might have ended up with two active subscriptions.
  • Plan change. If you switched plans, for example from monthly to yearly, Google may charge you immediately for the new plan.

How to check your subscriptions

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  3. Look for AppBlock and check the renewal date and price.

How to cancel future charges

If you don’t want AppBlock to renew, cancel via the same screen:

Google Play Store → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → AppBlock

Tap Cancel subscription.

Your Premium access will stay active until the end of the current billing period.

Want a refund?

If you were charged unexpectedly and would like a refund, see “How to request a refund on Android”.

Still confused about a charge?

Contact our support team and send us:

  • The date and amount of the charge.
  • Your Google Play account email.
  • Your AppBlock account email.
  • The Google Play Order ID that was sent to you by email on the day you made the purchase. It should be in the following format: GPA.1234.1234.1234.12345.
  • If you purchased Premium through our website, send us the invoice you received by email instead.

We’ll help you make sense of it.

If you’d like a refund for your AppBlock Premium subscription, we recommend requesting it through Google Play first.

Step-by-step

  1. Go to your Google Play subscriptions.
  2. Sign in with the Google account used for the purchase.
  3. Find your AppBlock subscription.
  4. Follow Google’s refund request process — or visit Google Play’s official refund page for current options.

You can also request a refund directly from the Google Play Store app:

Order history → find the AppBlock purchase → Report a problem.

Good to know

  • Refund windows and policies on Google Play are set by Google and may vary by region.
  • Google usually processes refund requests directly through Google Play.
  • If Google does not approve your refund request, contact our support team and we’ll review your case.

You can cancel your AppBlock Premium subscription at any time directly through Google Play. AppBlock doesn’t process subscriptions itself — Google does — so cancellation happens through your Google account.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  3. Find and tap AppBlock.
  4. Tap Cancel subscription.
  5. Follow the prompts to confirm.

Your Premium access will stay active until the end of your current billing period.

Good to know

  • Cancelling doesn’t delete your AppBlock account or your blocking settings — only the recurring payment stops.
  • You can resubscribe at any time.
  • If you don’t see AppBlock in your subscriptions list, you may be signed in to a different Google account, or your subscription may have been purchased on a different platform. Website purchases via Paddle or iOS purchases are not managed through Google Play.

If you can’t find your subscription

  • Make sure you’re signed in to the Google Play account you used to purchase Premium.
  • If AppBlock isn’t in the list at all, check whether you purchased through iOS or the AppBlock website — those subscriptions are not managed in Google Play.
  • If you still can’t find it, contact our support team and we’ll help you track it down.

Yes — you can use your AppBlock Premium across both Android and iOS, as long as you sign in to the same AppBlock account on both. There’s no need to purchase Premium again.

Step-by-step

  1. On your Android device where Premium was originally purchased, log in to AppBlock with your AppBlock account while signed in with the Google Play account used for the purchase.
  2. On your iPhone, open AppBlock and log in with the same AppBlock account.
  3. Premium will activate automatically across both devices.

If Premium doesn’t appear on your iPhone

  • Make sure both apps are on the latest version.
  • On iPhone, go to Profile → Restore Purchases.
  • Sign out and sign back in to your AppBlock account.

Good to know

  • Make sure you’re using the same AppBlock account, not just the same email address — use the same sign-in method.
  • You can use Premium on multiple devices at the same time.
  • If sync still doesn’t work, reach out to support and we’ll look into your account.

If you’ve purchased Premium but AppBlock still shows the free version, restoring your purchase usually fixes it.

Step 1: Restore from AppBlock

  1. Open AppBlock.
  2. Go to Profile → Account → Premium.
  3. Tap Restore purchases.

If you don’t see Profile, you might be on an older version — go to AppBlock → More → Restore Purchase instead. We recommend updating to the latest version to enjoy all the new features.

Step 2: Check your Google Play account

Make sure you’re signed in with the same Google Play account used to purchase Premium:

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  3. Check whether AppBlock is listed as active.

If AppBlock isn’t listed, switch to the correct Google account and try restoring again.

Step 3: Try from Troubleshooting

  1. Open AppBlock.
  2. Go to Profile → Help → Troubleshooting.
  3. Tap Restore purchases at the bottom.

Step 4: Clear the Play Store cache

If restoring still doesn’t work:

  1. Go to Settings → Applications → Play Store → Storage and cache.
  2. Tap Clear storage.
  3. Close Settings and reopen the Google Play Store.
  4. Close AppBlock completely by removing it from recent apps, then reopen it.
  5. Try restoring purchases again.

Step 5: Reinstall AppBlock (last resort)

If nothing else works, try reinstalling AppBlock.

Important: Reinstalling will erase your blocking settings unless you’ve previously created a backup in Profile → Account → Backup.

If the problem persists after all of this, contact our support team and we’ll help you sort it out.

Yes — you can use AppBlock Premium across multiple Android devices, and even across Android and iOS, as long as you’re signed in to the same AppBlock account.

How it works

When you purchase Premium and log in to the AppBlock app, it gets linked to your AppBlock account — not just your Google Play or Apple account.

From that point on, any device where you log in to the same AppBlock account will have access to Premium — regardless of which Google Play account, Apple ID, or platform that device uses.

Step-by-step

  1. On the device where you purchased Premium, make sure you’re logged in to AppBlock with your AppBlock account. This links your purchase to that account.
  2. On any other device — same platform or different platform — open AppBlock and log in with the same AppBlock account.
  3. Premium should be available automatically — no extra purchase needed.

If Premium doesn’t appear right away

  • Go to Profile → Help → Troubleshooting → Restore purchases.
  • Make sure both apps are on the latest version.
  • Sign out and sign back in to your AppBlock account.

Good to know

  • What matters is the AppBlock account, not the Google Play account or Apple ID.
  • You can use Premium with a different Google Play account, a different Apple ID, or even on a different platform — as long as you’re logged in to the AppBlock account that Premium is linked to.
  • You can use Premium on multiple devices at the same time.

If you run into any issues, contact our support team — we’re happy to help.

Yes, you can use AppBlock for free on Android.

The free version is a good way to start if you want to try basic app and website blocking, create a simple setup, or see whether AppBlock fits your routine.

AppBlock Premium unlocks more flexibility and advanced options. It is useful if you want to create more schedules, block for longer periods, use more powerful Strict Mode options, set more usage limits, customize your setup, or use AppBlock across a more complex daily routine.

Where can I compare Free and Premium?

You can see the full Free vs Premium feature comparison.

The comparison table shows which features are included in the free version and which features are available with Premium.

Which version should I choose?

If you only need a simple setup, the free version may be enough.

If you want AppBlock to support stricter blocking, longer blocking sessions, more schedules, more usage limits, or more customization, Premium may be a better fit.

I already bought Premium, but I do not see it in AppBlock

If you already purchased Premium but AppBlock still looks like the free version, try restoring your purchase.

Open AppBlock and go to Profile → Troubleshooting → Restore purchases.

Make sure you are signed in with the same Google account you used for the purchase. If Premium still does not appear, see “How to restore my purchase – AppBlock Premium not recognized.”
