Why is Premium not recognized after purchase?
If you’ve completed a purchase but AppBlock still shows you as a free user, here are the most common reasons and how to fix them.
The purchase didn’t finish syncing
Sometimes there’s a short delay between completing a purchase and AppBlock recognizing it.
- Wait a minute and restart the app.
- If it still doesn’t show, try restoring your purchase manually (see “How to restore purchases on iPhone.”)
You’re signed in with a different Apple ID
AppBlock Premium is tied to the Apple ID used during purchase. If the App Store is signed in with a different account, the purchase won’t be recognized.
- Check your Apple ID in Settings → [Your name].
- Sign in with the account used for the purchase.
There was a payment issue
- Open Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions and check the status.
- Update your payment method in your Apple ID settings if needed.
After an iOS update or app reinstall
- Go to the Profile tab in AppBlock.
- Tap Restore Purchase.
If none of these work
Contact AppBlock support and include your Apple ID email (not your password) and the approximate date of purchase. We can help investigate further.
